It has been a very stressful and chaotic two weeks for our nation. The AUA Board has made every attempt to continue our AUA Conference in a normal manner. However, considering recent guidance from the CDC to restrict gatherings for the next eight weeks, the AUA Board of Directors has voted to cancel the upcoming Ajera Users Conference scheduled for April 21-24, 2020 in San Diego, California. This was slated to be our largest conference ever, and though we are saddened to cancel, we believe it is in the best interest of our members, speakers, teachers, and sponsors.
AUA will process cancellation of all current event registrations. Attendees do not need to log into the Cvent website to cancel. Payments made through our Cvent event website will be refunded through Cvent back to the original payment method/credit card used. Due to the volunteer nature of our organization, refunds may take up to 15 business days to process. Please be patient with us as we all have full-time jobs that are also going through stressful times.
It is the responsibility of the attendee to cancel any travel arrangements including air, hotel, car rental, etc. We are thankful that most travel companies have agreed to waive all cancellation fees. The Crowne Plaza San Diego has confirmed that attendees who have paid for registrations will be fully refunded.
We are still on schedule to release our new website in the next few weeks which will provide a more robust member experience through the sharing of widgets, inquiries, etc. as well as enhanced and searchable Q&A forums by topic.
We understand that our Users Conference is the primary training mechanism for most of our members and we will be discussing other opportunities to share knowledge and resources in the coming months. Thank you for your patience as we all navigate these unprecedented circumstances together.
We have already scheduled next year’s Conference in Fort Worth, Texas for April 20-23, 2021. We wish you all good health and peace of mind. Stay tuned to AjeraUsers.org for more details.
